Two state primaries sit inside the suburb - Rochedale South State School and Springwood Road State School - while the closest high schools, Rochedale State High and Springwood State High, sit just outside it. The Rochedale Shopping Village has traded since 1970, Underwood Marketplace's Woolworths, Big W and 50-plus stores are on the doorstep, and Springwood's shops are minutes away.
